Winter Already?

So it's about time I feature some work don't you think? I hope you take the time to see all of these in their full view splendor. Now why did I choose a winter theme? BECAUSE IT IS ALREADY SNOWING IN MINNESOTA! Seriously... I need to contemplate moving. And on top of that- b/c of the rapid temp drop I am now sick. So I decided winter sounded about right for my journal.
And I'm just going to leave a comment under each to explain why I chose these! :D




I love the big soft snow, the DOF, and the gentle smile on the model's face. Beautiful image.




This single tree looks so stark and lonely and captures winter perfectly.




Haha... Exactly my sentiments.



I think the contrast of the flower against the purity of the white is great.



Nice bokeh and DoF. Lovely black & white image.



Strong emotion captured in this portrait- a loneliness.
Cuddled up inside in a sweater and (for me anyway) wishing for warmer weather to reappear.
Also great lighting I love the definition of the muscles in her legs.

I haven't used it yet. Just to help me figure out where muscles are
in the female body mostly. But if I use the pose I will def. let you know.
It's a really great reference.
